The Strokes didn't just make great records. They changed the sound, look and attitude of guitar music.
This is a live celebration of one of the most influential bands of the last 25 years, bringing the raw energy, effortless cool and unmistakable sound of The Strokes to the stage.
From the opening bars of The Modern Age to the first notes of Last Nite, the reaction is instant. Along with Someday, Reptilia, Hard to Explain, New York City Cops and many others, the band plays note-perfect renditions of songs that people don't just remember, they know every word.
The show captures what made The Strokes so magnetic: the dirty guitars, tight rhythms, nonchalant swagger and that feeling that something important was happening, even if nobody quite knew it at the time.
The set draws from across their catalogue with a focus on the earlier years, from the raw brilliance of Is This It and Room on Fire through First Impressions of Earth, they also dip into modern classics from The New Abnormal. Expect the hits, the fan favourites and the songs you forgot you knew every word to.
For those who were there the first time around, it's a trip back to sweaty clubs, late nights and the soundtrack of the early 2000s. For a younger generation, it's a chance to experience live the songs that inspired an entire wave of bands and still sound ridiculously good today.
Featuring: Last Nite, Someday, Reptilia, Hard to Explain, The Modern Age, 12:51, You Only Live Once, The Adults Are Talking, New York City Cops and plenty more.
