She's back!
Never one to settle or slow down, Elles Bailey, the award-winning, smokey voiced, far touring chanteuse who has powered her way to the forefront of the British Americana and Roots scenes in recent years, is returning to The Fire Station in her largest UK tour to date.
The tour comes as Elles announced her 4th studio album ‘Beneath the Neon Glow' and won Live Act of the Year for the second year running at the UK Americana Awards.
Elles also recently released her number one live album - Live at The Fire Station - filmed right here in our venue. The album topped the Official Jazz and Blues Charts, The Official Indie Album Breaker Charts and The Official Music Video Charts.
Elles Bailey's forthcoming album ‘Beneath The Neon Glow’, her first album released under Cooking Vinyl, is an exploration of love's myriad forms. Through lyrically vulnerable and brutally honest songwriting, she delves into the depths of heartbreak, the resilience of friendship, and the enduring power of love that spans a lifetime.
With beautifully uplifting melodies and first class instrumentation from her incredible live band, this record captures the essence of all the shades of love that have shaped Bailey's life and she fearlessly navigates through the spectrum of human emotion, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into her journey.
Although heralded in the Blues, Americana and Rock communities in the UK and further afield Elles describes herself as a genre blending artist who doesn’t want to be put in just one box. This album sees her effortlessly weave through roots, rock and soul inspired americana with first class songwriting and excellent musicianship.
Elles and her A list band will be joining us after a jam-packed full festival season in the UK and Europe over the summer playing the likes of Cropredy, HebCelt, Beautiful Days and many more.
