E-tickets are the quickest and most convenient option for customers. There will be sent to the email address provided when you purchased within 24 hours. E-tickets can be printed at home when necessary – please consider the environmental impact before you do! Physical tickets can be selected for pick up at our ticket office. Please bring the card you paid with as proof of ID.

Yes, e-tickets can be shown and scanned on a phone screen. Please avoid printing tickets whenever possible.

Are there any other booking fees?

All of our ticket prices are inclusive of VAT and, in the majority of cases, a Booking Fee which is charged per ticket. This is charged when you book through The Fire Station Ticket Office – online, by phone or in person. Any advertised prices will include any per-ticket fee that may apply. Booking Fees enable us to continue to cover our operating costs and any credit card charges.

There is a £1 cost per transaction for paper tickets. Some of our events also include a £1 or £2 building maintenance levy which supports the cost of maintaining The Fire Station buildings.

Does the payment cardholder have to be present when the tickets are collected?

The cardholder should be present so we can check identification and therefore prevent potential fraud. Tickets may only be collected by a third-party by contacting the ticket office to arrange.

I haven't got my e-ticket(s) yet - what should I do?

Don't worry, you'll receive a digital ticket up to 24 hours before the show - this is sent to your mobile device using the mobile number you entered when purchasing tickets. If you have not received this, please visit the Ticket Office on arrival at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled show start time.

Do you offer refunds on tickets?

The Fire Station does not offer refunds unless a performance is cancelled by us. If a performance is cancelled, you will be offered a rescheduled date where possible, or a refund.

We offer refund protection through Ticket Plan at the point of purchase. If you have Ticket Plan protection cover, please contact Ticket Plan directly.

Please examine your tickets carefully – check the event details, time and date upon receipt as mistakes cannot be rectified at a later date.

Can I exchange my ticket for a different performance?

Tickets may be exchanged within the same performance or production only by contacting the ticket office (0191 5700 007) and by agreement with the event promoter. Please note that this cannot be guaranteed, exchanges will be subject to an exchange fee and any difference in ticket price must be paid.

Tickets cannot be exchanged to different performance unless the original event is cancelled – in this instance a £1 exchange fees will not apply.

The show I have tickets for is sold out, can I resell my tickets?

If a show is sold-out we can attempt to resell your tickets for you. If we're able to resell them, you'll receive credit on your customer account for the cost of the tickets (minus a £1 exchange fee per ticket). You'll be able to use this credit to buy tickets for any of our future events. If this is something you would like us to do, please get in touch with our Ticket Office at info@thefirestation.org.uk and a team member will get back to you as soon as possible.

What happens if an event is cancelled or rescheduled for a different date?

If an event is cancelled, ticket holders will be offered a refund, or the opportunity for those who are willing and able to donate the cost of the ticket to The Fire Station.

If an event is rescheduled, tickets will be automatically transferred to the new date.
